A design element that has always inspired me to create more of a connection between human and the exterior has been the addition of louvers. I think that they are a great addition to architecture whether it is on a facade or even on an interior element. I like how they diffuse the light but do not block the view to the exterior. It creates more of an experiential element to the architectural piece.
